Maria and Theo were welcoming hosts, answering our queries promptly with local knowledge and bringing an amazing apple strudel on our first night. We were able to access all the cable cars and lifts from our base at Cesa Paula and enjoyed eating at the local pizzeria and wandering around the evening market in St. Cristina. Just a 5-minute walk to the supermarket and 6 minutes to the Buffuare lift that links you to the Ciampac ski area and then the Sella Ronda area. There is night skiing twice a week at an even closer ski lift that is used for race training during the day. Restaurants and town are all a close walk too in the opposite direction. Great location for our hiking adventures that comes with a parking spot. We could walk in town and be anywhere in 15 minutes. Appreciated having a washing machine to clean our dirty hiking clothes. "Stayed the night before and after a 4-day Via Ferrata tour. Very clean, nice balconies, fridge in kitchenette. Laundry facilities ideal and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy, nice balcony to sit out on in the evening. Couldn’t fault the reception staff, helped us find the right bus stop for our onward journey. "
