Short walk to Patina bakery down at the other end of the complex, and easy train into downtown for exploring this corner of Scotland. "

"Staff was great, room okay for 3 people. Breakfast buffet was good but did lack in the beverage section. Coffee machines broken, was there for 6 days and not one repaired, juices were almost always empty. Found that when bus tour groups were in need to have more staff. Felt bad for the staff in the dining area as they really worked hard to keep up. Hotel a little off the main streets but got used to it pretty quick. "

It is not cheap, but it is a hotel of the very finest quality backed by its facilities, its staff, and its fantastic grounds. Accessing Edinburgh is easy via the bus from the main road, or the park and ride site two miles away. After a busy day touring the city Dalmahoy is the perfect place to relax, unwind, recharge and repeat. If you play golf allow yourself time to play both the East and West Courses. The leisure facilities are second to none and there are several eating/drinking places on site. Looking forward to a return visit with/without a party of friends."
