"Thank you to Sofiane for going above and beyond and making us feel like family, made our stay so memorable. The pool is great and really well maintained, lots of Comte at breakfast was a great touch. If you are staying here without a car (which we did) it is quite far out so you will need to take a bus or taxi into the town"

"We arrived at the hotel after a long drive from near Bordeaux and just wanted dinner and then bed. We’d chosen the hotel because it had a restaurant but on arrival we were told the restaurant was closed on weekends. So we had to get back in the car and drive to a fast food chain for an average meal. Next morning, breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The area around the hotel is industrial so don’t be put off while you’re looking for the hotel address. There’s onsite parking, the rooms are basic but clean and nice staff. Completely different experience of Dole compared to the old city on the river but it was convenient."

"The rooms are air-conditioned which was a necessity this July. There is free parking opposite the hotel but for Euro 15 you can park in their indoor garage (limited to 4 spaces though). The check-in was disorganised as the receptionist walked us to the indoor garage (38 degrees and 100m away) to show us, then walked us back to the hotel, then we drove our car from the free car park opposite to the indoor garage, then walked back again. It would have been more organised to tell us to follow her in the car to avoid the back and forth in such extreme heat! Although we had paid upfront, we were asked to pay upon arrival. The receptionist said she would get the invoice corrected but in the morning, upon check-out, we were asked again to pay for the room. I had to show proof of payment to them! However, having said that, the hotel is centrally-located just opposite the start of the pedestrianised old town and the rooms were very cool due to an efficient air-conditioning unit. We did not reserve breakfast as we thought it was expensive at Euro 16 per person. Dole is a lovely place so I would recommend this hotel if you are passing by."

"Expérience formidable ! L'accueil aussi chaleureux que généreux par l'hôte de ce lieu exceptionnel. Une maison de charme décorée avec goût et originalité, dans un écrin de verdure. Tout est là pour permettre un séjour aussi agréable que ressourçant, bercé par le chant des oiseaux étonnamment nombreux, signe d'un environnement privilégié, où la nature a repris ses droits ou ne les a pas perdus ,La gentillesse de Martial et ses intentions délicates: petites confitures maison, limonade locale et autres... autant de marques de bienvenue et du soucis du bien être de ses invités. Un grand merci !"
