"We loved this bed 'n breakfast! The hotel very comfortable and uniquely decorated with old paintings and antiques. The highlight is the superb breakfast spread on the upper balcony patio surrounded by plants. As well as the most gracious and hospitable host! We decided to stay in Ventimiglia as a half way train stop between Arles, France and Florence, Italy. What a surprise to find this unusual hotel in the Old Village. "Excellent communication from the staff. Late check in instructions were emailed immediately after I provided the necessary information. They were friendly, understanding and attentive. I was only there for a short night and breakfast. If I’m ever needing to stay in Bordighera again, Gold Hotel will be my first choice."

"I really enjoyed having coffee on the balcony. It also is just a bus ride from Monaco and Monte Carlo with a bus stop in back of the hotel. And a walk to the train will bring you to other towns on the French Riviera. The Concierge was very nice however there was somebody going through my bags whenever I left the room and they stole a couple of my favorite toiletries which left me feeling really violated. Unfortunately I don’t know if I’d go back."

"Great hotel"

"Absolutely perfect stay! Beautiful room, lovely staff & location amazing. Hotel in a quiet street but super close to the centre/beach/ restaurants etc. Easy walk to the main station too for exploring other areas. Would definitely recommend x"
