"Great stay overall and a perfect location for visiting Mount St. Mitchell. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful quiet setting.Just a small note for future guests: there was an extra cash charge for sheets and covers that we weren’t expecting from the listing, so it would be helpful if that was mentioned more clearly ahead of time.Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it."

"The hotel is immaculate and staff are helpful, friendly and professional. It is ideally located, just inside the main gate, easy walk 15-20 minutes from the train station one way and from the ferry terminal the other. It has an elevator!!!! Breakfast was very good. The rampart walk easily accessible as well. St Malo is a beautiful town and La Maison des Armateurs is a fantastic hotel. We will stay here again, without hesitation, on our next trip to St Malo."

"The best night of sleep on my trip so far! Clean hotel, great location, super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and excellent soundproofing for a good night’s rest. If you are driving, I highly recommend booking a parking spot in advance. It’s a little pricey but it’s so worth not having to worry about finding parking outside the walls. Navigating the intramurals is not as challenging as some make it sound."
