The staff in general were very polite, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is very nice in terms of ambiance, surroundings and the lobby area. Unfortunately, the apartments were underwhelming. We had to move apartments due to how bad they were. Although as mentioned, the staff were very good and they moved us with ease, so issues there. Overall, it won't be somewhere I will stay again.

Reasonable option if markedly cheaper than others

Good area with a few dining options (Middle Eastern, healthy, McDonald's and Starbucks) next door. The hotel itself is busy, with check-in lines, elevators are slow to arrive. Requested a non-smoking room and it was hard to get one, perhaps due to the Asian Football Games. Studio decor is simple, with signs of wear, but passable. Nice view over the Gulf. It was a decent option in comparison to many other hotels which significantly increased rates for the Games.
