"The villa was breath taking! We were there for one night and we wished we could come back for so many more! Honestly anyone who could have a wedding there should think about it! The pool overlooking the countryside was one of the best views I’ve ever had. The massage was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful. And the restaurant courtyard was magical. We had a beautiful dinner under the twinkle lights and the food and wine selections were lovely. The staff helped us so much when our cab was late to get us to the train. The front desk staff was on the phone with the cab company ensuring if we missed our train the cab would take us to Siena (90 minutes away!) free of charge! Honestly this was a hotel with staff who took immense pride in their level of customer service. I will rave about this place for years to come. And next time I come it will be a couples trip where we can relax and enjoy the grounds even more!"

"The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Unfortunately there is no easy transportation from the top of the funicular to the hotel. It was a strain to walk up hill 200 meters on a narrow brick street lugging two large bags. Taxis are unreliable or just not available"

"Excellent stay outside of Orvieto (about 15 min drive from the village). The pool was awesome. The room was large and beautifully decorated and air conditioned. It was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend for a quiet stay outside of the village."

"It’s difficult to say if it was a hotel issue or just being in Europe. Water pressure for shower was only available in the morning. And refrigerator was set really warm. Otherwise great staff and fantastic breakfast."
