"I booked this property to take my mom for a long weekend for her 86 th birthday. It was myself, mom and my two sisters. We loved the proximity to the farmers markets and the fact that it was quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of town. The neighboring horses greeted us upon our arrival. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen items, water, coffee, creamer, snack bars etc. plenty of towels and bathroom supplies!! We made use of the fire pit every night. There was plenty of wood to meet our needs. Check in and check out was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay again."

"This was the most peaceful property I believe I’ve ever stayed at. There are acres of open space, a lake with a peddle boat and paddle board for leisure. I came with my family of wife and two kids 6 and 7 years old and everyone absolutely fell in love with the friendly farm pig we named Wilbur who was happy to greet you, lay beside you in the grass or eat any scrap food you gave to her. We usually don’t revisit places we’ve been before because we enjoy exploring new places but Wilbur may have given us a reason to come back. This property is a gem of western Virginia!"
