"The Ryokan was well maintained and we were pleased with the facilities overall. Two things to keep in mind: 1) the rooms are cleaned once every two days, so don't expect sheets to be changed every day. They do change the towels, at least, but it was never clear to us whether we had to take out our own garbage (we did it because it was still there after two days). 2) hotel staff don't seem to be present. No one was there when we checked in or out, or anytime we were there over the course of a...
