"The property was in need of refurbishment and tweaks that would have made our stay much better. The shower would flood the wet room as floor sloped in wrong direction and water would run near electric cables along the floor and under washing machine! The kitchen lacked basic utensils, tin opener, induction saucepans chopping board, mugs, not enough plates for four until we found a box with some unpacked stuff that needed washing and tea towel would have been handy! Needed cleaning in areas too....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex and Emma’s house in the forest - it’s just 45 mins from the city, yet feels further from any hustle and bustle of urban life. We travelled from Ireland with our 3 children (11,10 & 6years old) in August. The kids loved the heated pool and the surrounding decking is perfect for soaking up the sun. "Really lovely hotel, very clean. Some of the photos when booking didn't match up and it was disappointing that you had to pay extra to us the wellness area. Plus, we had plans to swim as we saw a photo of a pool when booking, but only when we arrived did it turn out that you could only swim if you where over 10yrs old."
