Our host, Fawzi, made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. We wish we could have stayed longer!! "Do not confuse 4* Tunisian with 4* UK or you will be bitterly disappointed. On arrival we were given a room in the hotel when I had booked a bungalow and had to go back to reception to ask to be moved to a bungalow. The hotel, bungalows and grounds badly need updating and the mattresses very firm leading to aching joints. Food not hot and very repetitive, drinks very limited and entertainment poor although this may be because it's low season. Staff ok but think they prefer the German and french guests who massively outnumbered us."

"Generally helpful staff can help provide assistance to make up for the staff - the bar comes to mind - who stay busy disappearing into back rooms to avoid the guests. But the helpful staff members well make up for their more elevated colleagues."
