"What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! "

"We chose the Lake View as a base for walks in the Keswick area. Everything about our stay there was exceptional. Hosts Stuart and Catherine were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The beds were super comfortable. We made good use of the downstairs lounge as a place to read and consult maps. The property is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the village, and well-served by public transportation. I highly recommend the Lake View."

"Stayed here for two nights with my friend while hiking in the area. Friendly and lovely place. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view over the garden and mountains beyond.
