"I stayed in the Hoxton Edinburgh and loved it hence booking the Hoxton Poblenou. Our room was good but was right by the elevator and loud. It is a hub for digital and brand conferences/meetings and was geared towards younger people. No one working at the hotel was over 35 which made me as a 57 year old feel mis-represented. All the public spaces were comfortable in furnishings but loud in music and young people talking. The rooftop deck was similar in noise and the food was not of good quality....

"Great location! The pool is certainly much smaller than the pictures and the water was too cold to use it. But if the conditions were perfect, it would have been quite the view from the pool!! No complaints! 👌"

Definitely in an area of good walking distance to a lot of local attractions. Right across from a really nice park. You can take a taxi Uber or walk to the cruise port. Cruise port is about a 45 minute walk."

"The gym and room size were great so I’ll start with the positives However I had a variety of issues at this hotel. The room was on the second floor and had many small and large flies inside the room. I brought this to the attention of staff my first day and was told they’d follow up but never did. Then my 3rd and 4th nights / mornings were interrupted by DRILLING that was going on with out any informed consent to staying in the room. The room felt unclean with the flies and I was unable to...

"There was a smoker in the room next to ours on the first of six nights. The staff tried contacting the smoker but got no answer. Meanwhile the smoke from the room was filling the area outside our door, the entire hallway, and seeping into our room. I awoke after that first night with membranes in my nose, eyes and throat burning. Thankfully, the staff listened to my complaint as I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke. The next morning they moved us to a different room on a different floor...

"The staff was wonderful and always welcoming. The property was very clean and the amenities as well. Breakfast was always delicious and the front desk was always there to assist 24hrs. Very female-friendly and perfect location."

"I was on a very busy business travel and really wanted to use the bar and restaurant but it was closed on one of the days for an exclusive business event. It was a busy evening due to a soccer match and none of the nearby restaurants and bars had decent seating or enough food. Treadmill was mis calibrated - the speed was off by more than 20%. Yes I checked the mph / kmph units. Food was excellent. Not enough power ports in the room near the bed."

"I liked the fact that it was a 7-10 minutes walk away from restaurants, convenience stores, easy to grab taxis and close to the La Sagrada Família. The apartment was well stocked, clean and spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The wi-Fi connection was also strong and the air conditioning worked well. My main (but also a minor inconvenience) concern was that because of the lack of proper slopping of the shower floor, the bath mat would be soaked after each shower."
