"We were meeting friends to go to the Highland games and there were little lodging available at a reasonable price. I was a little concerned about the bothies based on earlier reviews but we all loved it. One friend was very tall and in a bothies with lower ceilings so they offered a different one but they didn't mind. We all enjoyed the wood stoves, the environment, and the beds. Once in a lifetime stay!
"Nicola and her husband were a delight to stay with at Leslie Castle (the name “Leslie” has special meaning to me). My mom and I definitely wanted to stay in a castle on our trip and this was a good use of our time and money. The tour and historical talk by Nicola were really helpful and interesting and the food was excellent. There’s not much around, so definitely opt for the dinner on-site. Please book directly with Leslie Castle if you can, also, and avoid these third parties. "
