Welcome to Deerpath – A Cozy Log Cabin Retreat in the Heart of the Rockies

Tucked away in the majestic mountains of Summit County, Deerpath is your perfect alpine hideaway. This charming 3-level, 1,360 sq ft log cabin offers the ideal blend of rustic character and modern comfort—ideal for families, couples, or friends looking to unwind in nature.

After a day of exploring, relax in the private outdoor hot tub or gather in one of two spacious living areas—designed to feel like your own personal campfire circle. The large wraparound deck invites you to soak in the mountain air while grilling up dinner with the backdrop of towering pines and fresh alpine skies.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Located just minutes from Lake Dillon and centrally positioned to access six premier ski resorts, you’ll find adventure in every direction:
Copper Mountain (13 miles), Breckenridge (17 miles), Keystone (8 miles), Arapahoe Basin (11 miles), Loveland (12 miles), and the superstar Vail (32 miles).
Bikers and hikers will love the local trails, and just a 5-minute drive takes you to Silverthorne’s outlet mall, grocery stores, a movie theater, and excellent dining options.

Inside the Cabin

Master Suite: Nestled upstairs via a whimsical log spiral staircase, it includes a queen bed, a private half bath, and a cozy reading nook.

Main Floor: Features a warm, inviting living room with a sleeper sofa, gas stove, stereo, smart TV, ¾ bath, and a fully equipped kitchen that opens to the scenic wraparound deck.

Lower Level: Two bedrooms—one with a queen bed, the other with a full—share a full bathroom. You’ll also find a second living area with another smart TV and convenient laundry facilities.

Had 8 guests all fitting very comfortably, sizeable hot tub made for a great post-ski activity, kitchen fully stocked, ample parking and driveway area for dogs to run around in. Was wonderful!

The private hot tub is a big plus as well as being in a building with nobody above, below or next to you like many condominiums where you listen to noise coming from different directions. The peace and quiet is what we were looking for. A1 Vacation Rentals has also been a great outfit to deal with. They have always been very responsive to any questions or needs that arise during all of our stays through them.

Really loved the cabin. It had all the basic things we needed during our stay. The location of the cabin is good with 5/10 mins drive to all cafés and restaurants. The hot tub was a great addition to the overall experience.

The house and property were so cozy and my wife and I really thought that that made our mountain getaway that much better. It was easy to find and get access to and provided all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a nice thing to have as well! We're already planning on coming back with some more people in the future!

We booked this house knowing it was close to all of the major ski resorts but didn’t realize how close it really was, 10-25 min drive to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Vail! Dillon and Frisco are the cutest towns to hang out in and we enjoyed them more than Breckenridge! The house itself was great, and everyone loved the hot tub! Perfect for a winter getaway.

Our family of 4 adults and 3 kids stayed in this beautiful cabin. It was an excellent location for all of the ski resorts. We visited Abasin, Copper and Vail. All a very short drive. Not to mention the cabin itself is beautiful and super clean. Very convenient to the grocery store and several restaurants. 10/10 recommend!!

The “tree house” as we nick named it, was very convenient to hiking, casual and more upscale dining. The hot tub forced everyone’s phones down and was a great amenity for our post hiking adventure. As an FYI, the spiral stairs are rough on aging knees. Also, the pie shaped shower on the main floor is teeny tiny.

Main areas were fun to hang out. Bedrooms and bathrooms very basic, not super comfortable. 6 people was ideal, more would have been tight. Nice that it is dog friendly. Bring your own games, the couple here are old and missing pieces. Need some basic maintenance that I called out to property management and they were responsive. Spiral stairs to all levels were ok for us but not great for very young or old.
