"Hotel Thon is a lovely hotel. It is in walking distance to the Ferry. The restaurant food was very good. I wish you could still get your room tidied if not every day every other day. I am a neat person but I still appreciate services that was available. I would stay at Hotel Thon again."

"Great location, just a 10-15 min walk from the station and just a short stroll to the main area for bars/restaurants (I'd recommend Taeps). Staff were friendly, room was great and excellent breakfast buffet."

"It’s basically a motel - we showed up late to a key and good instructions. Super clean rooms, towels and sheets, bathrooms , dated bunk beds and mattresses aren’t 5 star. We stayed just to sleep, with kids passing through road trip. Played mini golf, which was great, nice area. No frills. Room has a fridge and a sink, shared bathrooms in hallway. Everything you need, won’t beat the price. Parking was confusing"

"We had an amazing family trip to Tonsberg and stayed at Thon. The hotel has the perfect waterfront location, staff members were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The location is the best you can ask for in Tonsberg. Daily room cleaning, very good experience and we're definitely coming back."

"The room was a good size clean and tidy, the bed was very comfy ,the on suite bathroom was a bit tight for my wife who has standing and walking issues There is onsite parking which is really good, The breakfast has room for improvement though ,the fried eggs are like rubber to eat and those sausages are not nice at all, but there is a vast array of very tasty cereal and a great selection of cold meats, cheese and fruit And they cater for dairy and gluten intolerant dietary needs that my wife has which was excellent It was very convenient for us as we were visiting a family member in Fredrikstad which is not far from the hotel and no hotel in that area offered free parking with accommodation Over all our stay was really good"
