"This accommodation is excellent. It is a converted boat which was built in 1839 and used as a floating lighthouse off the east coast of England. The owners are polite and helpful and are on site."
"The staff were very helpful, going above the call of duty.Breakfast was cooked well and according to ones taste.
The shower was clean and good.
Parking is off road and was easily available. On one occasion we had to park in paid parking just round the corner, which is plentiful.
The building is well maintained. Communication was good"
"Extremely disappointing and unacceptable treatment at RBS Hotel, Strood
I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by Mr Basu at RBS Hotel in Strood.
While attempting to check out, I was met with what I found to be an unnecessarily rude, abrupt, passive-aggressive and dismissive attitude. Instead of dealing with the situation calmly and professionally, I felt that my concerns were repeatedly ignored and that I was being treated with disrespect.

"Lovely property and appreciated being able to share a room with our young daughter as they made a family room - thank you. Breakfast was well presented and tasty. Great value for money."
"The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!"
"I would never stay here again. It’s beautiful yet totally impractical for guests. There is a “no shoes allowed” policy meaning I slipped as I carried my bags up multiple flights of stairs in socks, no air conditioning & no actual shower (just a large bath with hand-held shower handle). I think the owners have severely misjudged what the average guest wants. I paid about the same the week before nearby at the Premier Inn for all the amenities I wanted in a better location. I’ll be staying there...
"This is a historic inn on a pilgrim’s route. It is not a modern, high rise hotel. Don’t let those expectations diminish your experience here. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The beds are comfortable. There are not a lot of frills and extras here yet that is not what this inn is about.
Be aware that the inn is not in town. There is a rather narrow road going to the inn. Good, free parking. The breakfast is basic.
The pub area is super cool and historic - not sure how good the food is -...
