"friendly staffs. We booked a few rooms together for a trip. One of the group arrived around 9pm and their room was given away. We paid ahead with all rooms booked well ahead. They found a solution was to put my friends in next hotel across the street with upgrade. How did this happen? our groups were split in 2 different places. I am pretty upset."

"Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, helpfullness of the staff and the fantastic venue. Only minor issue was that there was only decaff coffee in our room. Soon fixed!! Would be happy to stay here again "

"Booked to be as close to the train station as possible and it is actually the nearest, just across the road from the station and nearest to the cruise terminal as well (app 25 minute walk or a taxi app £10) - I was meeting my daughter for her birthday, she works on the ships, so it was an ideal spot. Walking distance to the centre of Southampton too. Staff were really nice, loved having the pool, sauna and gym included. All in all great value."

"Perfect location for a one night stay prior to our cruise. Good sized room with a comfortable bed, refreshing shower, tea/coffee and ironing facilities. Nice restaurant where we had an enjoyable evening meal and wine, discounted by £5 per person by downloading the App. Free weekend parking. Taxi for 4 with all luggage to Southampton Terminal £25. Highly recommend. "

"Perfect bed for the night. Hotel is a little old and dates. Could do with some modernisation. Our 1st surprise was the shower curtain. These have long time. Time for a screen Holiday Inn! Beds were comfy. Breakfast was carnage!! Tables could not be cleaned up fast enough. I understand there is a shortage of staff in hospitality in the UK. They were really trying their best. I would stay here again just for the comfy bed and the convenience."

"This is a grrat property to stay at if you are going on a cruise. Walking distance from the port depending on which one your ship is at. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was great."

"We absolutely enjoyed the Bar area, The staff was very friendly. One individual stood out for us, His name was Curtis, We had a pleasant conversation with him. The only thing I would point out that could be a negative is the absence of small wash clothes. Otherwise I would recommend staying here, We are dog lovers as well and thought the dog bowl’s were great !"
