The cabin we rented was a nice space for a few days. The premium cabin fit my family of six nice and snug. I liked that the campground had a camp store for when you need to just a few things. That was very convenient. There is a grocery store just five minutes off the property as well. Very close to Lake George Village, which was nice to be so close.
There seems to be a lot to do at the campground however we were there off-season so not much of it was open during the week. The heated pool was a highlight for my kids. They swim, even when it was just 65° out. They loved it!
We ate at the little restaurant on Sunday evening and the chicken baskets we got were very decently sized. The French fries were very good! I was pleased with what we received for the price.
Not that this is the campground’s fault but because of all the rain, the mosquitoes were terrible! My son got eaten alive even with bug spray. So definitely make sure you have strong spray.
The cabin itself seemed clean. There were cobwebs around, but I could look past that and say for the most part, it was very neat and tidy the one issue we had was the coffee maker was disgusting. I tried to clean it, but couldn’t. We found one of the Cleaners and they apologized and gave us a brand new coffee pot to use. I was happy with how quickly this was resolved the space around the cabin was comfortable. Enough space for my kids to play around. It was a comfortable place for a few days!
