Ideal for motorcycles. Park right in front of room. Old-fashioned, simple key to door. Friendly staff, clean, functional rooms. Nice fire pit every night. We'll be back.

Nice little cabins right near the lake. Not the best spot for kids to swim as it is mostly a boat ramp and dock. Only complaints were the TV didnt work, they do not provide towels although it does say towels are included in the description while booking, and then the office was closed almost all the time.

Calm and Peaceful

The morning of our arrival the Staff called to check as to when i felt i was going to be there and if i needed anything special. I didn't, and felt i would be there close to 5pm. She explained that a note would be on the office door for me if they were not there. When we got there, they were still in the office and were very pleasant to talk to. Everything was ready to go. I asked if there was a store near by and they gave directions and said that they were having a fire in the pit later andd come join them. When we got to the cottage it was very clean and warm. The rooms were perfect. The sheets were crisp and smelled very clean. Everything seemed to sparkle. The view from our cottage and all of the cottages were breath taking. To watch the sunrise was magical. I know you hear about others experiences, but to witness it myself i was in awe. And that was from my front window. I went out side to get a pic. We had an awesome peaceful time at Blue Lagoon.

This is basically like a small cottage, beach front , you can swim, boat and enjoy barbecue with your family every day. One thing there is almost no closet space. However, the room is fully upgraded and everything is new.

The property is in a great location. The deluxe rooms we’re staying in were renewed and nice with a look to the lake. But one of the A/C was broken. They put a temporary replacement which made our window half open!! So bugs were everywhere. Also, it made lots of noise, when we addressed the problem to the office the receptionist she told us that she was sorry.. we said to her that they should have updated us in advance and that it shouldn’t charge us the full amount, she ignored it nicely and charged the full amount.. But rather than that the place is very nice and everything we asked for was answered with a solution and a smile.

Although it was off season, there should’ve been some staff on property at least to check guests in. There was absolutely not a single staff or manager on property at check in and on all other days after 3-4 pm, not a soul to attend to guests. We had to ask for most basic supplies and our dining table was sticky with fresh varnish. Mostly repairs were going on in the property and we were subject to fresh varnish smell one whole day. Other guests who checked in very late night had no one to attend to them and they were confused and kept knocking and trying to open our apartment door. Although they apologized but they did startle us at late night hours. Not going back to The Blue Lagoon.

We have come here before and have always loved the view of the lake and quietness of the property. We have always enjoyed our stay here and loved taking out the canoe. There are a few things that were a bit off this year and some things I wish they would change...The cabins we wish would come with a hair dryer, iron, and shampoo/conditioner. Also the beds need thicker padding as it could be me getting older but the beds are feeling harder each year. We also were not aware they moved the checkout time from 11am to 9am... there should have been a discount if their is time loss in your booking (Expedia had 11am but a piece of paper inside the cabin said 9am for sanitizing/cleaning purposes). Also there was an enormous amount of flies, this was unusual as this has not been the case before but I would think If they are making you check out 2 hours earlier than before for “cleaning” purposes that wouldn’t have happened. They also mowed the lawn while we were there and moved picnic tables and chairs onto our drive way which we had to drag off so that we could be able to park. We will always come back to visit this area but may try a different place next year.
