"Breakfast was wholesome and the bed comfortable, but there was nowhere (in Ancestry) to eat breakfast apart from on the bed. Shower works well."

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"We really enjoyed our stay and it was absolutely amazing value for what we paid. But here is some more detail; It is a lovely characterful building with lots of free parking and lovely gardens which had deer you can see every day from the large conservatory you eat in or the lounge area. Free good WiFi. It is quite noisy with planes going over every few minutes in peak times. We quite liked to see them so it didn't bother us really. We had the exexutive suite which was a lovely roomy room...

"We loved the hotel and where it was situated, our room was nice and clean but views was sadly lacking, bar and staff very good but I felt the outside has the potential of being better , nothing seriously wrong but a little more effort and it’ll be lovely . We would definitely come back"
