"Wonderful three night stay. Room was great, overlooking the garden. Nice to sit outside in the summer evening. Great location, within walking distance to the Cathedral and city center. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and owners were very accommodating. Very professionally run Bed and Breakfast. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed for 2 nights at Brandon Lodge. Our room was spotlessly clean with very pleasing decor and a good heating system. The mattress and seating were very comfortable for somebody like myself who has many orthopaedic issues. The bathroom had a wonderful huge bath and excellent shower. "Lovely old building. Staff were excellent, helpful and cheerful. Very nice breakfasts, didn't dine there in the evening, so can't comment on the evening meals. Having parking to the rear was most useful, but has limited number of spaces. Only "negative" was being a very old property the stairs were a bit of a challenge if you are on the top floor."

"Room not properly stocked with tea bags etc Dust on stand and skirting boards. Door would not open fully as got stuck on the floor. Two single beds but not a lot of room to manoeuvre around banged legs on it. kitchen at breakfast - there was no butter 2nd morning and lack of mugs. There were coffee perculators but no coffee to brew only small instant for cups. Food in restaurant- ceasar salad was a big disappointment, chicken overcooked and salad not right leaves for ceasar salad. However staff...
