"It’s beautiful being way out in the islands. Best part of NIR was the staff; they’re very much like a family and are always saying “bula” and asking how you are. The food has great flavor. The free stuff; kayaks and snorkels are great; just take yourself over to Blue Lagoon. Guided snorkel was amazing as well with Moses. I opted to rough it with no air con; would probably not do that again but it’s all and all a lovely place"

"Nabua Lodge This Lodge was the perfect fit for us in the quieter months If you are seeking a Fijian family run good value accommodation with tidy welcoming simple bures the Nabua Lodge would be ideal. The grounds are immaculate and the facilities well cared for. The big bonus was the quality of the meals. The fresh fish was exquisite and the mangoes pineapple and papaya outstanding and the home cooked meals overall were very good. The staff were attentive caring and very friendly Ideal for us we would happily come back."

The villagers were all extremely friendly, the food was plentiful and the view and swimming were spectacular.Be sure to take plenty of cash for add ons (boat rides to other beaches, activities, guides, entertainment, etc).It was great to just sink into "Fiji Time" and relax."

The staff were so nice to our children and we even got some adult time while the kids were in the awesome kids club. The only thing I would criticize is the lack of a clean water tank to refill reusable bottles. I don't want to buy plastic bottles on a small island and add to the pollution of the world."

If you’re after escaping the big resorts for something more quiet and secluded, with all the activities and the friendliest staff, this is the place for you.
