"Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. "We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot.
