Not a fancy place, but clean beds and bathrooms. Staff is over-and-above kind and helpful, they were the best part of the stay. They have a 24hr snack room that is the best I've ever had at any hotel, and their prices are cheap! Great location too, close to stores and restaurants, easy drive to downtown. Overall easy, cheap, clean place in a decent location. Can't beat this place.

The motel is starting to show it's age. We had fixtures that were broken and the blind didn't work. The guy at the front desk was awesome at check in and coming to our room within minutes to fix the blind. The location as others have said it's loud, with the busy road. We knew that going in, so it's what we expected. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were a lot of people smoking marijuana outside, so throughout the night, the odor would come into the room. Overall, for the price and the guy at the front desk, the stay was good.

We had another great stay at Allen Park Motor Lodge. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and they were able to accommodate us for an additional night at the last minute. We will definitely be staying here again for Movement Festival 2026!

I liked the price. It felt safe. The little shop was great. I liked that the front had somebody 24/7. I had a maintenance issue that the staff resolved for me fairly quickly. The furniture is a little worn out, it’s not a fancy place to stay but the bed was comfortable and there were no bugs. I had to dock a point because even though my room was non-smoking, it smelled of smoke and all my things had to be laundered thoroughly once I got home because it all smelled like smoke. The location is nice, parking was easy. I’d definitely stay here again if not for the cigarette smell.

The motel was truly meeting my expectations. Starting from the friendly receptionist till the checkout next day. The room was decent and the sheets were clean. The bathroom had enough towels, toilet paper, shampoos and conditioners. The water pressure was perfect and temperature was just right. We spent the night with 2 kids on two double beds and the room spacious enough to accommodate a fussy toddler. We will be returning back!
