"We arrived late in the evening of 18th October and unfortunately, due to not receiving an email with the code for the key, the owner had to come and let us in. We apologised and she directed us to our room. The next morning the owner served us the most delicious breakfast, with homemade produce as well as locally sourced foods. When we checked out she gave us some chocolates. Superb, friendly service and a lovely little place which feels so welcoming. We would definitely recommend!"

"The house is large and comfortable with abundant hot water and all necessary amenities. Within walking distance or a short car ride to restaurants and a 30 min drive to Ypres and WW1 sites. "The owner/manager was not given our arrival time, and did not have my GSM number. There were no instructions to contact her before arriving. The expected arrival time was given clearly to VRBO but not communicated. This resulted in a long wait at the door. The owner/manager was not given the" number of beds required and could not prepare the bedclothes beforehand. This was very unsatisfactory and disappointing."

"Spent two nights here while attending the passchendaele 100 memorial events and I was pleasantly surprised how large and comfortable the room was, especially the bathroom which was huge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of good quality coffee hot croissant's and fruit bread.
