"Not that far from Bruge but completely inaccessible if you don't have a car. Very pleasant green surroundings and the donkeys they had were friendly. Rooms,furnishings and decor very tired and basic - more like you would expect in a hostel. Main problem is that the 'hotel' was closing [for good] down a couple of days after our visit so was in the process of being stripped down - so no evening restaurant (no cooker left in the kitchen), nothing to make tea or coffee in your room. "Stayed many times in Ostend but this was my first stay at The Prado. Couldn’t have been nicer. Friendly staff and convenient for town Bars and general shopping. Room rate was reasonable for large rooms. Well recommend."

"Only one poor girl left on her own to manage the busy bar and checking area. We waited ages to order. Quite a few frustrated customers around us too who missed out on even getting a drink in the bar as last orders 1030pm but she couldn’t get to serve us because she was too busy. More staff needed "

"I came across for the tour of flanders. Very convenient place to stay, less than 5mins walk/cycle to the station in Kortrijk. They have a secure bike area which, whilst a bit packed, was ideal. Rooms were clean, although the lack of door to the bathroom could make it a little awkward if you're sharing!"
