"The hotel definitely does not live up to the pictures on the web. In a three day stay, we had no air conditioning, was promised a room with a bath we didn't get, you couldn't open the windows properly which is a fire hazard, and one window had no mosquito net. All not usually a problem (apart from the fire hazard) if the owner hadn't have had the heating on in the spa, creating an oven in the rest of the hotel on nights when it averaged 25 deg C outside. He had clearly tried to address...

"My experience at Hotel Bero was overall very positive. The location was really great; a 5 minute walk from the beach is amazing for a vacation. The room was clean and cozy. "This is a beautiful place. We loved our room with the high ceilings and luxury finishes. The location is an easy walk to restaurants and the Market Square. Having a parking place is absolutely necessary for Bruges. We felt relaxed knowing our car was safe and not too far away."
