"Sunway hotel is run by a family who you will see on the premises. Mom cooks breakfast (a large buffet with Albanian delicacies and also European meals), the daughter and son are receptionists. No matter what your question will be, they will be able to help you make your stay an unforgettable one in Ksamil. I chatted with them as if they were long time friends, sharing family stories and what I did during my day. They shared stories of their own and gave me some great recommendations on my stay. It doesn’t surprise me that there are guests that are regulars for years! If I lived closer to Albania, I would also be back in a yearly basis! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Valza, rooms were clean, beds large and comfortable, walk in rain shower and a sea view balcony. Breakfast included cake, eggs, bread, sausages, crepes, jams, cereal, yoghurt, coffee etc. Evening meal can be had at the restaurant and was delicious. The best bit though was the owner, he really couldn't do enough to help us, including planning itineraries, recommending locations and restaurants and generally doing everything he could to bake sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back!"

"This is a wonderful family hotel just a few minutes’ walk from the promenade and city center. Despite its central location, it remains peaceful and secluded—a perfect retreat. The service is exceptional; we were warmly welcomed and genuinely felt like part of their family. Visiting during the low season was a bonus, as they kindly upgraded us to a suite. The suite, located on the fourth floor, offers breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains. If you book a double room with the same view, you’ll also enjoy stunning sunsets. While the suite was comfortable, we do wish the linens were newer and of better quality. The two brothers mainly manage the reception, and their hospitality is matched by their mother’s delicious, home-cooked breakfasts (buffet style in summer season). Each morning, we felt energized and ready to explore after enjoying her hearty meals. On our last day, their “baba” father—even offered us a complimentary ride to the bus station for our journey back to Tirana. Do not think twice to book this family run hotel."
