"We stayed for 1 week. We usually rent at least 1 cabin each summer (mostly through the other big rental company) and do not expect luxury accommodations. Unfortunately this cabin ranks pretty low compared to others. Some of the listing photos are clearly from when the cabin was first built or redone as the condition is not as nice now. Both showers had a lot of mildew or mold. The upstairs shower is pictured and we elected not to use it. Downstairs shower head wasn’t great but at least seemed...

Even though there is no stove, there are 2 induction cook tops, which we used. The owner also let us use the gas grill. It was quiet. I liked the blackout shades. Parking was easy. The location was great for us because a family member was doing the Lake Placid Ironman race. She was staying in Lake Placid and we could get to her hotel...
