"Disappointed that Hotels.com did not tell us the hotel was being refurbished. Bar was closed during our 10 day stay. Parking at hotel was not free. They charge 5€ per night unless you want to walk 150 m away. Sky TV was totally in German. Had to ask Manager to change location of our room which originally opened onto the car park and was noisy. "Not exactly in downtown but some 12 minutes away walking. The hotel is average, with nothing to complain about. The free breakfast buffet is above average for similar German hotels. There is a paid parking structure and free parking outside or on the street."

"The staff at Reception were super but there was a problem with the Health Centre staff. The infotmation about hours when the pool was available to hotel guests was wrong and we missed out on a swim on our first day as a result. We ate the evening buffet which was good and very good value. Its close to the forest - good for walkers and cyclists but otherwise you need a car."
