"After I booked the room, I rang twice to check that the room was on the ground floor & both times not answered, so I left a written message with the booking & got no reply…….not a good start! On entering the room it looked very tired, badly needs renovating. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, the tap in the hand basin was so loose it nearly fell off when I turned it on. All the bottles in the shower were empty, no flannel/face washer, only 1 tiny bath towel for 2 people. The toilet was loose when...

"The cottage has a 60's vibe. It was clean, everything worked. It was quiet, private and near the main farmhouse. Beautiful spot, lovely sunsets and sunrises if you are into that. We were greeted occasionally by a friendly dog and cat. The host's communication was great prior to our arrival and we didn't need to make contact during our stay. Would recommend!"
