"I have stayed here several times. If you are looking for a cheap and clean room, this is a great fit. If you are looking for an upscale hotel, you would not like it. I look for somewhere I feel safe as a female traveler by myself. The property managers are both very polite individuals."

"Room was clean but vending machine was out of order. The worse was roaches everywhere. I killed three in bathroom the night of and then in the morning was few more in shower and ceiling. They need to spray. Other then those it was fairly upkept."

"It was very run down. They charged me a $50 cleaning fee for my service dog. No where on their website does it say about bringing paperwork showing he is a service dog which is actually not allowed. All the bedding was stained and didn't look clean. I actually went and bought sheets to put on the bed to sleep on because I wasn't sleeping on theirs. They need a major remodel! Oh and as soon as I walked in my room it REEKED of marijuana! I understand for the price I shouldn't ask for much but...

"This is not a rent ready property. The 1.5 miles of dirt road was not accurately portrayed in the listing narrative. Owner advised her compact car could get to the cabin. We had to use our four wheeled drive truck to maneuver the numerous potholes some ranging 3-6’ across and 18-24” deep, filled with water.The cabin was in disrepair and flood debris was on the walk around porch blocking access or view from the windows. Some areas of the deck needed replacement boards and paint along the railings...

"This cute cabin was such a relaxing getaway. Very clean & spacious inside feeling like a cabin in the mountains, but it was only a short trip from our home. Very peaceful only hearing nature and being in a very private setting. Will definitely rebook for future dates. Thanks Kim for everything!! "

"Always a pleasure staying at the Cottages when I'm in the area for the weekend. I've stayed at three different ones: Dogwood this time, Cypress and Magnolia previous times. The properties are very clean. Location is conveniently located by the Food Lion to buy stuff to cook so you're not going out to eat all the time. Very reasonably priced for what you get."
