"Our first time staying in South Africa and at the AC by Marriott and we were not at all disappointed. We stayed in a super spacious and cosy room with a gorgeous view of Table Mountain and the surrounding areas of Cape Town. Being right by the waterfront and a 10 minute walk from the Central Business District (CBD) was perfect for us and our adventures. This hotel also has a complementary shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront via bus and riverboat. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and were always available to resolve any issues we might have had (not that we did). A special thanks to Asithanoile, Asekho, Jesse, Shai - Lynne, Martha and David for their consistent help and kindness. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a wide range of food to choose from at the buffet, as well as a menu to order from as well. We were met with an abundance of smiles from Onelisiwe, Asaniko, Lukanyo and Obi, which filled our mornings with joy. Dinner was just as much of a pleasure to walk into and despite our attempts, we couldn't stay away! Nothing else we tried in Cape Town quite compared, the food was so rich in flavour and the service was unmatched. We loved seeing Tandile, Sinoxlo and Bradley and having a laugh. "We loved the place. Near the airport, very comfy room, perfect breakfast, great personnel, great food and perfect coffee from the expresso machine. We had an issue with the air conditioner in the room and they rushed to change room immediately. If we come back, we will choose this place again. All personnel were amazing. Our kids were treated so well by anyone, specially Lizwe, who helped us has the perfect lunch. She was so kind! If you have disabilities, please note this hotel has some rooms like in the middle of two elevators, so there is a set of stairs you will need to take, so make sure you let the hotel you need a room at elevator level. They are very kind and will make their best to allocate the room."

"It was centrally located. Being there, we could take rideshares for different places for $2-3. We preferred rideshares as we were with kids. Very nice breakfast. Kind personnel. "

"My wife and I had the most amazing and luxurious stay at the Taj. From the moment we walked in, Rita on reception met us with the most incredible standard of help and support. The room was exactly as we expected and more … the views (wow) and the comfort of the bed and the stunning bath with views - just wow. The bar, and restaurant staff again, we were blessed by all that we met with. I can’t name everyone but would like to make special mentions to Frank and Widaap. An incredible experience and we will definitely be back. "
