"An amazing oasis several hundred years old kept in a mint conditions opens up suddenly, as you approach the bridge leading to the property. The room we stayed was decorated with 18th century style furnishings, beautiful view of water, modern bath with beautiful details. The spa overlooking the water, both inside and outside, just added to the paradise feeling. Dinner was gourmet style, elegantly presented and delicious. "Beautifully decorated, lovely dining and lounging spaces. The newly remodeled spa was very nice with ample daybeds, and neat features like saltroom and a fire room. Huge indoor pool. The room was sizeable for Swedish standards, quite plain, but very functional. Comfy beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast was superb, and the dinner was excellent- they had a gazpacho that was incredible. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our only drawback was that the spa and restaurant were closed on Sunday. "
