"Great place to stay for good nights sleep. The bed was super comfy!"

"From the moment I drove onto the property I had an uneasy feeling. I wasn’t even sure I was at the right place since the motel sign was some other motel chain. I entered the lobby to confirm I was at the right place. The lady behind the counter confirmed that I was at the right location and began to check me in. She was very accommodating in finding me a room on the bottom floor. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing I can say about the entire experience.She was difficult to understand...

"Room was spacious and clean with a nice shower. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast."

"The hot tub was filled with concrete and completely out of service. The elevator worked only intermittently throughout our stay, creating a major inconvenience. Despite charging premium rates, the room was mediocre and did not justify the price. I expected much better for what i paid."

"This place is in need of a lot of attention to deal with the deferred maintenance and bring it back up to an acceptable level. I wouldn’t stay here again. It should also be noted that there was no one on site and you were required to go to the convenience store next-door to check in and get your key."

"I absolutely loved this location. We got the Dixie Den and the drive to was so beautiful. The water was so nice to lay in with a sand shore (of course Texas is one good rain away from higher water) kayaks for rent and the neighbors were so nice. Property manager was so nice and helpful made sure we had everything we needed and if i had the opportunity to buy this little spot I sooooooo would! Nice shower, and spacious restroom. Kitchen was perfect and the hot pot is amazing! Loved the icebox and...

"This is the second time that I have been able to stay at this property and both times have been a delightful experience! Check-in and check-out is super easy! The property has all the amenities for outdoor grilling and a fire in the fire pit for s’mores! Conveniently located in a cove on the lake. Highly recommend! "

"Everything was great with the place clean and comfy. Just a suggestion maybe have a portable wagon you could carry your stuff to the house since you do have to park away from the cabin. "

"The view was great as promised. The inside of the house is very nice and has a very functional layout. A few minor fixes are needed here and there but the inside was clean. Our first day, the deck was dirty but the gardeners came on the second and blew it clean so we were able to enjoy it. The only thing I couldn’t give five stars to was the accuracy of the ad because some of the amenities it says it had are no longer available, just needs an update. We had a great time and would stay there...

"Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The outdoor deck was a fabulous spot to hang out with the family. My only negatives…were the extra firm beds and not being able to access the open water, even with waders, due to sinking in the mud. Adding a couple of paddle boats- 1 for each cabin- would be a huge bonus, but you can’t help the lake levels. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. "
