Beach Hotels in Saint Martin from SAR 762

"Loved the location and beach. The onsite restaurant was great and reasonable. The rooms were amazing with ocean view. You felt secure as there were gates to get into property.they were renovating pool area so we did not use but the beach was perfect. I would recommend and hope to come back. Only negative is that they charge for the gym and shuttle into town. Its only a 5-7 min walk. "

"I loved how small and intimate it was. I enjoyed all the little details in the open air lounge area and enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs. The vegetation on the property was also gorgeous. Our room had a stunning view of Pinel Island and we used the boutique’s kayaks (10 euro per person) for an easy trip over there (less than 15 minutes). They also provided snorkeling equipment for us to use and a wet bag. Idalia gave us plenty of great dinner recommendations and also went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She cut aloe for my husband’s sunburn and offered me a fresh local mango. I felt very taken care of. There isn’t a beach within walking distance, but we had a car so that wasn’t an issue. It would be helpful if they had blackout shutters like the hotel we stayed at in Orient Bay - the sunrise is very early and comes through the curtains they have. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Nice big rooms and a balcony. It was very comfortable. All room face the ocean. Some rooms have better views than others. Our room was excellent."

"This is a beautiful boutique property with the most winderfully warm staff!! Its located within le acasias property right off the marina. The rooms are quite small but beautifully decorated. The breakfast and cocktails at the restaurant are very good. There are additional restaurants and a small food shop in the plaza as well. Walking distance to Anse Marsel beach. A car is needed if staying here as its rather secluded and having a car will allow the opportunity to explore the island. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Pomme Cannelle-the hosts are delightful and the location is superb. Breakfast hit the spot and was a great way to kick off our first morning on the island. Beautiful room, kitchenette and pool area. We will 100% be back for another stay at Pomme Cannelle. "

"Breakfast was buffet and nice, but same everyday. So we did venture out after four mornings with the same thing. The little village had some great restaurants for dinner. Was nice not to have to pay for the beach chairs. Room was beautiful. There is a little grocery store around the corner as well. We rented a car to visit the attractions since this is a little secluded. "

"The property's aesthetic was exceptional, from the entrance to my villa. The owner provided outstanding and readily available support despite not being on site. Instructions are clear and useful. The pool was great too. The gastronomic experience i didnt try but it seems to be worth the hype. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay, and I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. For instance, I asked at the desk for ice and the lady went out of her way to find a bag for me free of charge. Only minor exceptions. They give you a gift card at check in that reads for 'One free cocktail' but the lady that runs the bar refused it and told my wife that is for 'the juice that goes in the cocktail, not for the cocktail'. The next day I asked the bar lady for a bottle of water so I could make ice. (The desalinated tap water is ok to drink but not the best). She gave me the more expensive brand bottle and charged me $10. The bar is owned by her, not the hotel. She was an unpleasant person. But the other bartender employee and restaurant staff were very nice. It would be a much better experience if they would just get rid of that bar owner/manager. Great location. Orient Beach currently was full of Sargassum weed but a short drive to other beaches which had none. We found renting a car was best and the cost is less than the taxi ride from SXM so it pays for itself in that sense and you can explore every place.."
