"Exactly what we needed for a few hours"

"The hotel was on the river front and our room had a lovely terrace and a great view of the water. The room was very large and well decorated with drink making facilities available. The bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. Breakfast was good with a nice selection to offer, including some hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two small minuses were, no lift to our room and the hairdryer was absolutely useless. "

"Room was nice, but very warm. The room was very quiet except for the trash area outside our window for all the restaurants."

"We had a double room (rooms adjoining) which was perfect for us as a family with a very large main bedroom. Just what we needed."

"The hotel is quaint and charming. It is literally around the corner from the Porta Nigra, which is the entrance into the historic district of Trier."

"Right in front of Porta Nigra, I recommend getting a room with a view it’s beautiful. Nice restaurants close by, staff gave us good tips, had dinner at Sim."

"Fantastic location, what a lovely town. The host was lovely and very friendly. The place is old but what does one expect in an old town. Yes there are stairs, but not an inconvenience. Yes it's right next to railway, but didn't bother me. There are window shutters you can close (, a previous review complained about the bright room🤔). Iverall I enjoyed my stay,safe,secure,clean,spacious room and bed was comfy. What more can one ask?"

"Stayed a couple of nights whilst touring with our dog. Dogs were very welcome. Great area for walking and hiking. Room was large and very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Would stay again if in the area. "
