"In the first days it was extremely cold in the hotel. The staff was friendly and made an effort to solve all the problems, including the cold in the room (due to the crisis, it was forbidden in Italy to turn on the heat). The hotel was full of guests and, on the first nights, they gave us extra blankets. After three days, the problem was solved by changing the room. "The property was in a great location in the countryside, peaceful, and a short scenic walk (about 800 metres) down the hill from Assisi. If you like a bit of exercise and and can walk this distance then it is a perfect way to get to the town each day and enjoy the expanding views when you go up the hill. Our host Giulio was exteremely helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay in the area. "
