"A beautiful tranquil place within easy reach of the local town, which contains lots of history. No night pollution and so we saw a wonderfully starry night sky. By daytime we discovered we were in a lovely courtyard with a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious with plenty of character, and the breakfast absolutely delicious, fresh, with generous portions. "It was a large spa area full of old people coming for treatment. we felt slightly out of place . everyone was in groups doing excercises, playing games and in the morning queing up in their dressing gowns at the Doctor's before going in for their treatment. otherwise it was fine."

"The hotel is well placed for travel south in Spain being just off the A66. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good en suite facility.
