"This place is paradise! We stayed for two nights as part of our honeymoon and didn’t want to leave. Just beautiful. The hotel has pedal assist (electric) bikes available to hire - highly recommended a couple of hours enjoying the stunning scenery on these. Or simply grab yourself a bottle of Gavi and enjoy the spectacular gardens and views. Restaurant very good too. "

"It was the most terrible experience during our trip around Europe. This “villa” is not only dilapidated, creepy and damp, but also very dirty! Grey towels, garbage bin was full, no amenities at all, no basics as shampoo or soap. And cherry on top - insects in the room and a huge spider on the wall, that made us afraid to sleep at night. The “breakfast” consists of a few buns and some yogurt, there were no healthy alternatives. Don’t choose this hotel!!!! "

Nothing was a disaster but I offer the following notes:- 1) Shower cubicle is too small unless you are an anorexic midget. 2) Wifi didn't work in the room - only the lobby (where it was excellent). 3) Spa pool was clean but basic and needed refurbishment. 4) Soundproofing minimal with 6am wake-up call from street garbage collection. 5) Parking (on the street) difficult needing to be topped up every morning before 8am by getting another ticket. 6) Hotel decor a...

"This was a last minute booking, while driving on a freeway towards Milan, literally an hour before check in. But what a nice surprise! Excellent hotel, spacious restaurant/ bar which was still open at this late hour, and the man at the reception was so nice, and gave us an extra room complimentary, realizing there were 5 of us, and we'd be crowded in 1 room. "The owners were very accommodating as the booking did not indicate that they closed at 8pm in the low season. They received us at 10pm. The experience was friendly, clean and very characteristic. If you are staying in the area I would definitely recommend this accommodation. "
