"Recurring stay at this no nonsense accommodation in central Calais. Quirky rooms, individual designs. Owner is converting it into apartments so sadly, only a few years left to stay here. Parking on the street is free and safe or you can park securely for a few euros. Wife and I love this place and have been visiting here 20 years regularly. "

"This was not our first time here, the hotel looks as if it has been painted. Our room on the first floor was great, bathroom with bath and nice towels. Needs a little TLC around the skirting. Then it would be perfect. Food as always was wonderful with a good breakfast spread, including hot scrambled eggs etc. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Thanks, we will be back."

The house was close to Vimy Ridge and we enjoyed visiting this site as well as some other Canadian War Memorials in Belgium which were a few hours away. "My wife, daughter and I had a most enjoyable week in this lovely, well equipped Gite set in beautiful surroundings. Our hosts, Isabelle and Eric were delightful and helpful in every way. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful, yet so close to the UK so often overlooked by those heading further west and south down the A16. This Gite is also conveniently located for Le Touquet, Boulogne, Montreuil and the Sept Vallees as well as only 40 minutes from Calais."
