"If you are coming to Asuncion, strongly consider staying at the Arthaus Boutique. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots. "Nós sempre ficamos no Asuncion Gran Hotel. O Staff é muito cordial, mas infelizmente, devido à taxa de câmbio desfavorável, tudo ficou muito caro. Além disso, tivemos um mal-entendido no check-out a acabamos saindo sem tormarmos nosso café da manhã, devido ao atraso na sua preparação. "The hotel is in a historic colonial style building in the center of the city. Beautifully renovated. Helpful and friendly staff. My room was super - large, high ceilings, modern air conditioning with a comfy bed. Great feel to the place."

"I communicated my arrival time on the Hotel web messaging service after the hotel wrote to me on it. When I arrived, the hotel was locked up solid, no light, no one answering door or phone. My cab driver took me to a different hotel. If Beulah Hotel charged my credit card, I will dispute it."
