"The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The first room she gave us had very little air conditioner actually coming out of the vent so she moved us to the room next-door, which had the same problem. She then moved us around the corner to another room which had more than acceptable amount of air-conditioning although on a really hot summer day could have been questionable. The bed was very comfortable & clean. The shower seemed to have been remodeled compared to the first two that she gave...

"Very cool place to stay. Great property. Nice pond. Caught some big bass. Owner contacted us to advise that extreme weather with winds up to 95 mph would be passing later in the night. Offered their barn to park our four motorcycles. Saved our bikes and trip. The motorcycles surely would have been blown over and damaged. Several trees in the area had been knocked down. Truly appreciate the owners looking out for us!"

The pool was a great option for those who didn’t want to get in the lake as well. The AC worked well in all spaces which was wonderful in the July heat.
