"The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen. "The Avis rental was just fine but what I’m very unhappy about is Expedia’s sale of collision damage insurance. Turns out it is NOT part of the rental from Avis so if anything goes wrong you still have to pay Avis and then presumably try to get your money or part of it back from Expedia’s insurer. And buried deep in the terms is the exclusion of people over 70. So I paid as much as a day of rental to Expedia for nothing. They know my birthday, I’m pretty annoyed. "

"The cons (out of town centre industrial estate location, shared bathrooms, generally basic etc) were fairly priced in so this exceeded my expectations as very clean, well maintained, good water pressure and small but comfortable enough rooms)"

"The room was warm unfortunately there was no hot water. Being January the restaurant was closed so even for a warm drink and food we had to go out in below freezing temperatures. The bed was very clean. No food or drink allowed in the rooms. "
