"We arrived at 9pm with a car full of expensive filming equipment, no spaces in the car park. I suggested parking where other cars were parking near the hotel on double yellows but the desk person said this was not allowed and they would be moved on, they weren’t nor were the two non disabled cars in the disabled bays. Parking is very badly managed and desk person totally unhelpful. Feel sorry for any disabled drivers as non of the spaces were being used by blue badge holders"

The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. "The location of the hotel is perfect , literally on the doorstep of Lincoln Cathedral and the castle. Parking is opposite to the hotel - although it is a public car park and a fee charged by meter upto 24hour parking available. The hotel itself is lovely, well presented and very clean. "The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. "
