"The property grounds were beautiful and serene. We were so happy we chose this place outside the hustle and bustle of Hilo. The trip into Hilo was about 20 minutes, but the drive was beautiful and worth the peacefulness of the property. There were many sites to see within a few miles, such as Akaka falls and the Botanical Gardens."

"Positives: Close to activities we were interested in (waterfall hikes, lava tube exploring, horseback tour, etc). Well-appointed with furnishings, kitchen appliances, BBQ utensils, and the like. Did not want for such items! Mostly private setting with orchard behind house. Improvements: Bedroom windows did not lock, but were elevated well above ground level. Not sure if bed linens were laundered recently, but laundry on-site. No outside trash bin. Cell service not great in the immediate area,...

"The pictures didn't due the view justice. The lanais were fabulous and very comfortable for the four of us. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped and the setting was very quiet. The perfect get away from the crowds."

"What a wonderful experience! My wife and I are the current longest reigning residents (12 days). The treehouse was so warm and comfortable, you could tell at every glance the amount of thought that went into building this treehouse. Madeline and Todd were wonderful hosts!
