"Tembo House was one of the most beautiful and unique hotels my wife and I have ever stayed it. It is walking distance to the heart of Stone Town and the Freddie Mercury museum, also has stunning views of the water and all the boats. Comfortable, clean, vibrant, and gorgeous! The staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. They were nice enough to hold onto our bags in a secure room while we went on safari for a few days as well. "We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "
