The host went above and beyond with fresh flowers, homemade cinnamon rolls and cookies, milk and fresh eggs, and they even had extra toiletries available in case you forgot something. The lake was amazing to take a dip into on the hot day. The bed was comfortable and it was just the most relaxing and peaceful place to stay. There is all kinds of fish in the lake and is perfect for someone that loves fishing. This was just the most amazing spot to recharge and...

"Property is very unique and historical. Staff very polite and knowledgeable of the area. Room was very clean but very outdated. Carpet and door need to be replaced. No coffee pot in room nor offered in the front office area. I will plan to stay here again if my travel plans bring me this way again."

"This was so quiet and peaceful. We went for the Eclipse and it was remote enough to avoid any kind of crowds and noise. It is very small, but perfect for us. Had the feel of a four seasons room with kitchen, bed and bath, plus a screened in porch. We loved it."
