"Great breakfast"

"Our stay was wonderful! Room was clean, very comfortable bed,cozy interior of room. Outside of property was so beautiful, calming walk around outside by the pond. We recommend staying here 10/10. Shipshewana itself is a very welcoming place. We will most definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!"

"I reserved 3 rooms...one room had a strong odor of urine, 2 of the refridgerators had a lot of frost build up in the freezer section and 1 microwave was filthy! The "breakfast" was supposed to be from 6-9am. We went to the lobby at 8:30 and was disappointed to find all the gravy and biscuits gone. When we asked the gentleman that was at the counter, he informed us that there were no more! He didn't even appologize for our dissatisfaction of the available breakfast items. I would not reccomend...

"We were in room 214. That is right above the entrance. Every time the door opened and closed it sounded like thunder in our room. My husband says it needs new bearings. Was very annoying. He suggested that the manager sleep in that room. It might get fixed sooner. Also the air conditioner was very loud. Hair dryers were hanging behind the door in the bathroom. Had to ask where it was. Breakfast was not very good on Saturday but Sunday they had biscuits and gravy that were very good. Staff was...

"The Wellington Cottage has so much to offer, with the number of beds, and bathrooms, and the casita. And it’s so fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms! And then there’s the outdoor area with the lake view and amenities. Wonderful! Hotels.com (Expedia) caused issues with securing the property but the property owner (Aaron) was easy to work with and get the issue resolved."

"This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay."

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils.
